Science club has started up in term 3 this year. This week was for years 2-4 and we looked at bubbles. It's something that all the students knew something about but could find out about the science behind how they form.
For our bubbles there was an extra ingredient in our mixture - glycerol. This makes the mixture stronger and allows it to bounce instead of popping straight away. As you can see in the photos all the students got right into experimenting with bubble size, holding them and what happened when they were blown together.

It had three ingredients - water, dish soap and glycerol
